Bio

Maysam decided to discover financial mathematics in 2019 while he was working as a fixed-income and derivatives expert at Etebar asset management. Before his career at Etebar, he had worked for three years at Tamadon investment bank as an investment associate. After gaining experience in both sell-side and buy-side, Maysam joined the MSCF program in 2022 to couple his experience with modern portfolio construction, financial modeling, asset pricing, machine learning, and data science. As the first winner of the advanced mathematics of Iran's nationwide graduate studies competition, he is particularly interested in quantitative trading, market research and risk management. Upon graduation, he hopes to put his leadership and problem-solving skills to work in financial markets.
