Bio

Mengxin (Emerald) Cao graduated from Tsinghua University in 2022 with Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and a minor in Data Science. Prior to joining the MSCF program, she joined top securities and tech firms as an intern to explore the versatility of machine learning algorithms. As the leader of THU SEM Outreach Department and a volunteer for the 2022 Winter Olympics, she developed solid communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Mengxin attended the MSCF program to strengthen her quantitative skills and further develop market insight. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a quantitative researcher.
