Bio

Chuchu (Clare) Xu graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Before joining the MSCF program, she gained quantitative research experience at a top investment bank in Asia and two hedge funds based in Shanghai. Some projects included genetic programming, performance attribution, and high-frequency trading. Besides, she also developed machine learning and data analytical skills through her internships at Intel and AWS. During her free time, she enjoys competitive sports like swimming and skiing. Having been sketching and painting for years, she is sensitive to graphs, lines, and visualization. She joined the MSCF program to further strengthen her quantitative background. After graduation, she is excited to start a career in quantitative research or development.
