MSCF Math Certificate

If you are interested in the same intensive mathematics instruction as our full-time program, but are not interested in the MSCF degree, our Math Certificate is the answer. In this format, you will attend the same classes as MSCF students, perform the same coursework and learn the same material through six certificate-designated math courses.

Our Math Certificate program begins in August and takes six mini-semesters to complete. If you are interested in this certificate, you must have the following:

  • Completed MSCF application
  • GRE/GMAT test score (GRE preferred)
  • Official transcripts of all academic work
  • Cover letter including an Essay C (statement of career and goals) in the online application

Once accepted, you need to register for at least six of the ten courses offered by the Math Certificate program. You will need to take each course in the mini-semester as shown.

Please note that Math Certificate students are not eligible for career placement services. Should you decide to enroll in the full-time MSCF program while earning your certificate, you will need to reapply, provide letters of recommendation and complete the essays. If you are accepted, you can transfer units earned from the certificate to the full-time program.

The cost of the Math Certificate for the 2017-2018 academic year is $3,870/course ($645/unit).
