NSF Graduate Fellowship Recipients

Congratulations to Mechanical Engineering students Lina Gonzalez, Rachel Jackson and Patrick Dougherty on being awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships.  Lina is a Ph.D. student of Professor Phil LeDuc, Rachel is joining Assistant Professor Steve Collins in the fall of 2011 and Patrick (currently a 5th year scholar) will be a Ph.D. student of Associate Professor Fred Higgs.  The NSF Graduate Fellowship is very competitive and the department is proud of Lina, Rachel and Patrick for their acheivement.  Please join the department in wishing them the very best for a productive and rewarding graduate student experience.  We look forward to hearing of their future successes!
