APPLICATION FOR INTERNAL TRANSFER
**THE FALL APPLICATION DEADLINE
FOR BXA DESIGN IS FEBRUARY 1, 2010**
**THE FALL APPLICATION DEADLINE
IS MARCH 5, 2010**
This option is for current Carnegie Mellon students who want to
transfer into the Bachelor of Humanities and Arts (BHA) degree program,
the Bachelor of Science and Arts (BSA) degree program, or the Bachelor
of Computer Science and Arts (BCSA) degree program. Students have
the opportunity to apply for internal transfer in both the fall
and spring semesters. The fall deadline is in October, and the spring
deadline is in March. For specific deadline dates inquire in the
BXA office located in MMCH 107, or email franco@andrew.cmu.edu.
The BXA Interdisciplinary Degree Programs are competitive, and require
that students maintain a strong academic record in both areas of
study. It is expected that candidates have at least a 3.00 cumulative
QPA in coursework prior to entry.
Requesting transfer into the BHA, BSA, or BCSA program is a process
of gathering information and carefully evaluating whether or not
the BHA, BSA, or BCSA curriculum suits your academic goals. If you
are interested in applying for internal transfer, you must first
meet with an academic advisor in each college prior to submitting
your application.
