Bio

Mary joined the Carnegie Mellon University community in 2016, where she contributed her expertise to the Legal, Ethics & Compliance department within the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). In 2023, she began a new chapter in her career as the Agreement Compliance Manager at CTTEC.

Prior to her role with CTTEC, Mary demonstrated her commitment to compliance matters at the SEI, where she collaborated closely with the General Counsel and the Ethics and Compliance Department. Her primary focus was on ensuring contract compliance with the U.S. Department of Defense, a role that required precision and diligence.

Mary received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a specialized focus on International Business, from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Notably, she was granted a full athletic tennis scholarship, underscoring her dedication and determination. Following her undergraduate studies, Mary returned to Pittsburgh, where she successfully completed Duquesne University’s Paralegal Certificate Program.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mary enjoys outdoor activities alongside her husband and their golden retriever. She is an avid golfer, tennis player, and platform tennis player.
