Clickers
Computing Services is pleased to announce that i>Clicker Classroom Response System (CRS) is now part of the classroom technology in all large Enrollment-controlled classrooms and auditoriums and is ready for use. The H-ITT CRS has been decommissioned and is no longer available. The CRS service is jointly supported by the Office of Technology for Education (OTE), the Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence and Computing Services Media Technology (MediaTech).
Throughout the summer 2010 semester, i>clicker will be installed in the small Enrollment-controlled classrooms for use. In the meantime, Faculty who are scheduled to teach in small Enrollment-controlled classrooms, and who would like to use CRS sooner, should contact MediaTech to arrange installation at mediatech@andrew.cmu.edu.
Instructor Kits
Instructor kits with the i>clicker software, receiver and instructor and student remotes are available to be borrowed for a semester from MediaTech. Please contact MediaTech at 412-268-8855 or send email to mediatech@andrew.cmu.edu to reserve a kit. The i>clicker classroom response system can be run on Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
