Celebration of Teaching
Formerly called the Education Awards, A Celebration of Teaching recognizes the accomplishments of faculty who exemplify the university’s standards of excellence in education. This event celebrates our distinguished faculty members on their outstanding contributions to the university and their devotion to and effectiveness in their teaching. A Celebration of Teaching consists of four main awards: The Ryan Award and The Gelfand Award, presented annually, and The Doherty Award and The Academic Advising Award, given every other year. In addition, the most recent recipients of the College Teaching Awards are also honored.
The date for the 2010 Celebration of Teaching event is yet to be determined. Please check back soon for more information.
