Transition Reminder and Web Resource Site
Thanks to so many of you who have filled out your site transition forms to elect either manual rebuild or auto-migration, allowing your website to begin using the new v5 design in the content management system (CMS). Site managers will be notified by Computing Services as site transition dates continue to be confirmed.
For those of you who haven't yet filled out the site transition form for sites you manage, we're offering a deadline extension to make your selection by next Friday (5/5/17): https://www.cmu.edu/cms/request-forms/v5-transition.html.
We've heard from some of you that you would like to un-publish your site and archive it. To do that, fill out the delete request: https://www.cmu.edu/cms/request-forms/site-deletion.html.
If you are still unsure about the path you'd like to take and have remaining questions, we’re happy to help you. Please submit your questions to: https://www.cmu.edu/cms/request-forms/v5-questions.html.
Web Resource Site
We’re glad to announce the launch of a new web resource site, www.cmu.edu/web, that will help you prepare for your site transition to v5, give you content best practices, and offer you video eLearning. On the site, you'll also find the dates and registration information for upcoming workshops.
Thanks again to all of you for your partnership as we continue to evolve cmu.edu.
