Assistant Director, Office of Title IX Initiatives
Jamie Edwards is the Assistant Director of the Office of Title IX Initiatives. Prior to returning to her alma mater, Jamie practiced law in the Pittsburgh office of McGuireWoods, LLP and clerked in family court in Trenton, NJ. Jamie has assisted victims of domestic violence in obtaining protection from abuse orders and has worked with the Women's Law Project. Jamie is also a trained mediator. While an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon, she served as a sexual assault advisor and a gender issues intern. Jamie graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in political science and history & policy, and a minor in gender studies. She received her juris doctorate with a certificate in public health from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2010.
