Get to Know Giovanna

"I hail from Boston, which I love for its active renewable energy scene in addition to incredible food. I received my B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in drama/theater (I swear it has served me well) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I most recently worked at BlueWave Solar, a project developer, and brought commercial-scale solar projects from site acquisition, through design, permitting, construction, and finally, investor sale. After two years of managing due diligence, I thought it was time to get a formal business education.

"I decided to come to Tepper for two main reasons: the Energy Business Track, which gave me the flexibility to take classes across CMU, and the other students. Welcome Weekend really solidified my decision to come here when I saw how brilliant, helpful, and down-to-earth the class here was and since being here I have been absolutely blown away with everyone."

"I will be working with Mitsubishi-Hitachi in Pittsburgh for summer 2019, on their finance and corporate development team, building out a new venture to develop renewable energy projects in the U.S."
