Nicholas Hamilton-Archer Named Executive Director of Executive Education at the Tepper School of Business

As Executive Director of Executive Education at the Tepper School of Business, Nicholas Hamilton-Archer will work with faculty across Carnegie Mellon University to develop programs that translate emerging academic research into practical business solutions for global clients. Hamilton-Archer will lead Executive Education programs for organizations and individuals that leverage the University’s expertise in strategic leadership, innovation, advanced analytics, and technology.

“Organizations of all sizes across the globe are facing disruption and market shifts due to increasing rate of innovation and the emergence of new technologies,” Hamilton-Archer said. “Carnegie Mellon Executive Education provides a hub for corporate teams and their leadership to deeply engage with and test cutting-edge tools, proven models, and innovative strategies that can create immediate impact and growth for their organization.” 

Hamilton-Archer came to the Tepper School from the University of Colorado, where he was Executive Director of Executive Programs since 2013. He also held leadership roles in executive programs at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

He holds a master of public administration and a bachelor’s degree in government and international politics, both from George Mason University. “Having worked in a global setting for the majority of my career, I have been involved in strategically developing diverse networks to support learning and training for executives. This global perspective and the ability to link timely conversations from various parts of the university will be a key asset in building dynamic content and programming for our partners,” added Hamilton-Archer.

Hamilton-Archer joined the Tepper School in September 2019.
