The projects on this page involve the pedagogical strategy: Active learning

Learning that involves high levels of student participation and cognitive engagement, above and beyond listening to a lecture and taking transcriptional notes (i.e., passively receiving knowledge). Examples of active learning strategies include, but are not limited to, group work, think-pair-share activities, case study discussions, debates, inquiry-based exercises, and problem solving.
