The projects on this page involve the pedagogical strategy: TEL (Technology-Enhanced Learning)

TEL denotes harnessing the affordances of educational technology to enhance student learning, inside or outside of the classroom. TEL may create new learning opportunities or enhance the efficiency and/or effectiveness of existing learning opportunities. Examples of TEL include, but are not limited to, using personal response systems (clickers) to encourage student participation during lectures, online learning modules to support learning in blended or online courses, and blogs and discussion boards to provide low stakes practice and feedback on writing. An additional benefit of TEL is that it may provide fine-grained data on student learning to inform current instruction as well as iterative course improvement.
