Support for ProSEED and Mellon Grants-Teaching Excellence & Educational Innovation - Carnegie Mellon University

Eberly Center supports faculty with developing Simon Initiative ProSEED and
Mellon Foundation Seed grants and projects

Simon Initiative ProSEED Grants and Mellon Foundation Seed Grants are intended to enable CMU faculty to pursue learning research or educational practice projects aimed at improving student learning outcomes at CMU and beyond.

The Eberly Center supports faculty throughout this process – from developing/refining proposal ideas to consulting on and support for implementing project activities. Below are resources CMU faculty have found useful in preparing proposals:

For the Spring 2017 cycle, faculty interested in pursuing an educational practice proposal are strongly encouraged to discuss their ideas with an Eberly Center colleague at one of our drop-in individual consultation sessions (from 10am-2pm on 1/23 and 2/2 in Cyert Hall A-70) or to request a 1:1 consultation by emailing eberly-ctr@andrew.cmu.edu.
