HELP A VETERAN WITH CMU NON-PROFIT STARTUPTepper Cares and the Vets Club is excited to announce a new way to help Veterans in the Pittsburgh community!
Tepper School of Business students Micaela McCandless Pieper and Shweta Aladi have launched Make It Count, a non-profit initiative that partners with Veteran’s Place—a non-profit in Pittsburgh that works with homeless veterans to provide transitional housing and teach employable skills—with the help of individual donors.
How does it work? Homeless veterans build wish lists, which are made available to donors. Make It Count ensures that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to those in need.
