REFINERY VENTURES HOSTS VENTURE CAPITAL
INVESTMENT COMPETITION ON NOVEMBER 8

On November 8, 2018 from 12-6pm, Refinery Ventures is hosting a venture capital investment competition for aspiring university interns. The competition will be held at Union Hall in Over The Rhine, Cincinnati.

How it works: Each university may submit teams of five  individuals or less. The teams will hear from three actual startups from the Midwest and will have the opportunity to conduct due diligence and make an investment recommendation to Refinery. The three startups represent a variety of different industries and verticals, so it is important to have students with an eclectic set of interests and knowledge. The final step is meeting with the judges and advocating for your chosen company to invest in and give your written investment thesis. After the winners are announced, there will be a chance to socialize and network with the Venture partners and entrepreneurs.

We need your help: Would you encourage students who you think would be a great fit to participate in this event? This is open to students that are familiar with the VCIC program and those that are exploring venture capital for the first time. This competition will assist us in sourcing internship candidates at Refinery Ventures in Summer 2019.
