CMU STUDENTS! APPLY TO THE VENTUREWELL E-TEAM GRANT PROGRAM BY FEBRUARY 6, 2019

The VentureWell E-Team grant program helps student inventors make an impact on the world.

An E-Team—or Entrepreneur-Team—is a multidisciplinary group of student-led teams working together with faculty to bring an invention to market. Receive an E-Team grant and get training through an early-stage innovator training program. The program provides peer networking, expert coaching, national recognition and hands-on workshops to move your innovation forward.

The program offers $5K and $20K grants that are typically the first money in the door. The grants are competitive, recognized nationally as a source of non-dilutive funding and empower innovators to prototype and explore commercialization.

Apply by February 6, 2019. Sign up for an upcoming webinar or email David D'Angelo to schedule office hours.
JHF FELLOWSHIP RECRUITMENT: 2019 FELLOWSHIP ON DEATH AND DYING - DEADLINE, DECEMBER 10, 2018

The Death and Dying Fellowship takes on a key challenge: the reality that professionals are not well prepared to deal with death, dying and grieving families. The Fellowship allows participants to learn, confront, and discuss the legal, medical, social, cultural, familial and spiritual aspects of death and dying within a multi-disciplinary group in a low-pressure environment. The sessions will include site visits, facilitated conversations and opportunities to practice conversation skills—a timely skill since Medicare approved payment for advance care planning.

During the final session, Fellows will create a community action plan.
