Faculty Student Lunches

Get to know your world-class faculty that makes Carnegie Mellon so great. More than leaders and teachers, these individuals can be fantastic resources, providing guidance, inspiration, wisdom, and support. Through the Faculty Student Lunches program, you can establish relationships with faculty members outside of the classroom and form a dialogue about academic interests, future goals, and broader life experiences.
  1. Sign up for a free Faculty Lunch Block, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis (once per semester).
  2. Make lunch plans with any listed faculty member, on your own or with a group of peers, for any time during the semester.
  3. Make a reservation online at least 24 hours before your lunch.
  4. Bring your CMU ID card to Schatz Dining Room at the agreed-upon time. Enjoy your lunch and conversation!
This undergraduate student program is sponsored by the Undergraduate Student Senate, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, and the Office of the Vice Provost for Education, and is supported in part by your Student Activities Fee. More information may be available on our website.
