Student Organization Conference Room Reservations

SLICE manages space reservations for two conference rooms (306 & 329) supported by Student Government for recognized student organizations. The conference rooms are located on the third floor of the Cohon Center.

306 Conference Room

Reservation Policy
  • Complete request form at least 48 business hours in advance.
  • The requestor will receive a notification through The Bridge regarding approval or declined.
  • Discard of all garbage, remove all items brought to space, and return furniture to presentable state.
  • Do not remove furniture.

  • Organizations may potentially be bumped. SLICE will notify the organization whose reservation has been canceled and will schedule for UC 306 instead.

Cohon Center Spaces: can be reserved a year in advance. Questions: ucres@andrew.cmu.edu

Academic Spaces: can be reserved before each semester. Academic reservations take priority and are complicated. Organizations may not receive confirmation until the first week of each semester. Questions: esrooms@andrew.cmu.edu

Cohon Center Study Rooms

Study Rooms are available Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 pm to 1:30 am.

Study rooms are available for students to reserve via 25Live (login required). There are 25 rooms of different sizes and each room features at least two chairs, a table, and a whiteboard. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Tartan Colloborative Commons

The Tartan Collaborative Commons is a brand new space that has been designed by the Undergraduate Student Senate for students to have a space for individual and small group work. There are several seating options available and two small enclosed conference rooms with media functionality. There are also several glass boards throughout the space.

One of the conference rooms is reservable on a first-come-first-serve basis.
