Pattye Stragar is in her fifteenth year with the Carnegie Mellon.  Pattye graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in physical education with a minor in coaching and secondary education and earned her master's degree in physical education from Ithaca College. Over her time at Carnegie Mellon, Pattye has been very involved in the campus community.
  • Athletics – Group X-ercise, Physical Education, Walking Wednesday’s and FITT camp
  • Barbara Smith Women Mentoring Women Program committee
  • Member of MentE a Faculty, Staff and Student Panhellenic Mentor and Mentee Program
  • Carnegie Mellon Women’s Association – Current, Past President, President and Treasurer
  • Fitness – teaches many styles of Group X-ercise Classes and FREE Faculty Staff Classes
  • Staff Council – Past Chair, Chair of Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day, Vice Chair, Previous chair of Elections committee and on Sustainability, Wellness, and Relations & Guidance committee
  • Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day committee for 15 years
  • Healthy Campus committee member since formed in 2006
  • Andy Award winner for Culture in 2005; Andy Award Nominee for Spirit in 2016
Pattye is passionate about this GREAT University and looks forward to being a divisional rep for another term.
