Getting Involved

We're all in this together – all committed to building community and helping people realize their full potential. Join us in building a better campus community by joining the staff council community, sharing our progress, and learning about the many ways you can be part of our work.

There are many volunteer opportunities you can participate in that do not require you to be a member of Staff Council.

Check out some of the volunteer opportunities listed below.

CMU Community Picnic

The CMU Community Picnic is presented by Human Resources and Staff Council. The picnic is usually held every year in May. Volunteers are needed to help plan the event and serve as greeters.

Attend Meetings

Staff Council General Body Meetings are open to all staff. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at various campus locations and are zero-waste events! Check the meeting calendar for locations.
