Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley Career Fair

Carnegie Mellon University's Silicon Valley Career Fair is CMU's California-based career fair for employers from all industries – technical and non-technical.  Employer participants are asked to showcase technical positions as well as non-technical job opportunities (i.e. analytics, marketing, human resources, management, advertising, writing, and more).  This event will draw students from various graduate degree programs at the Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley campus plus CMU-Pittsburgh students from all majors and degree levels, including Bachelors, Masters, MBA and PhD students seeking full-time or summer internship opportunities.  Alumni from all backgrounds plus part-time MS Software Engineering and part-time MS Software Management students will also be in attendance and representatives are encouraged to recruit for experienced candidates.

Getting Ready

Students at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley

Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley is home to 200 masters and Ph.D. students in the fields of software engineering, software management, and electrical and computer engineering. Students from both the full-time and part-time programs are invited to attend, so you will have the benefit of reaching both traditional grad school hires and interns, as well as working professionals who can be available for current openings. Technical students from our Pittsburgh campus have also been invited to attend, including students from the Information Networking Institute’s information technology program.

  • Through February 1 "Early Bird" fee: $350.00

Cancellation Policy

Carnegie Mellon will give a full refund to all employers who cancel via email or phone before 5 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014. No refunds will be given after that date.

What's Included

Registration fee covers 2 company representatives, one 6' table with tablecloth, 2 chairs, wireless internet connection, and heavy hors d'oeuvres for each representative.  Display must fit within a 7’ space. Electrical outlets available on a limited basis, requests will be granted in order received.
