Admissions will be on a rolling basis and decisions are made as soon as possible at the SHS Advisory Board meetings.

Inquiries should be submitted to William Alba in Doherty Hall 2201.
The core curriculum required for SHS students differs from the core curricula for DC or MCS students. For specific information, see our comparison of H&SS, MCS, and SHS curricula.

However, there are many additional benefits available to SHS students, including enrichment opportunities such as the SHS speaker series and special student faculty social events. In addition, SHS students are given registration priority in both colleges, making it easier for them to schedule courses they are interested in outside of their major. Finally, there are some majors that have been designed especially for SHS students, with an interdisciplinary focus - the major in biological sciences and psychology and the major in mathematical and statistical sciences.
