Australia Payment Options
Flywire by peerTransfer (International Payments)
Carnegie Mellon University has partnered with Flywire (formerly peerTransfer) to streamline the tuition payment process for our students. With Flywire, students receive the following benefits:
- excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing payments to be made in a student’s home currency (generally)
- payment tracking through the transfer process via a student dashboard
- email confirmation when payment is received by the school
- fast and secure payments
- assurance that the payment amount sent is the exact amount received by the university (no hidden bank fees)
Bank Transfers within Australia
Students can send a bank transfer from an Australian bank account at no cost. Choose Australia in the "What country are you paying from?" dropdown menu in Flywire and select "Domestic Bank Transfer in AUD" in the Payment Options.

Select the button below to begin the payment process, to learn more about Flywire, or to find international support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via Skype, email or phone. An Andrew User ID is required when using Flywire. Your Andrew User ID is the prefix of your Carnegie Mellon email address. For example, andrewcarnegie is the Andrew User ID for andrewcarnegie@andrew.cmu.edu.
Cheque Payments
Students may make a cheque payment in person at the Finance Services Office in the Torrens Building located at:

Attention: Administrative Associates
Make all cheques payable to Carnegie Mellon University, and write the student's name and Andrew ID on the memo line of the cheque. If andrewcarnegie@andrew.cmu.edu is the student campus email address, then andrewcarnegie is the student's Andrew ID. If possible, please bring the student's invoice when presenting your payment.
