Bio

Tom Haas is a member of PwC’s Technology Impact Office based in New Jersey. He is involved with a wide range of initiatives that leverage PwC’s intellectual property and technologies to address pressing societal and environmental issues.

Prior to this role, Haas was a Practice Director within PwC’s Risk Assurance practice where his responsibilities included introducing new methodologies for working both internally and with PwC’s clients, new business pursuits, client engagement and targeting, sales team support, competitive intelligence, and internal reporting. He initially joined Risk Assurance as the Risk Assurance Strategy, Marketing & Sales Director with responsibility for market and sector client targeting, thought leadership, sales collateral, marketing programs, public relations, internal and external events, and the practice’s internal and external online presence.

Before joining the Risk Assurance practice, Haas served as the Industrial Products Practice Director, providing operational leadership to the teams serving for PwC's clients in that sector. Previously, he was the Industrial Products Sector Analyst with responsibility for thought leadership, sales collateral, marketing programs, public relations, internal and external events, internal and external online presence, and analyst relations.

Haas joined PwC in 2006, initially as a Client Strategist driving business development strategy for a number of priority accounts concurrently across multiple sectors including consumer packaged goods, travel and tourism, industrial products, aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals, and business services.

Prior to PwC, Haas held several executive and sales roles in the financial services, public relations, and security industries.

Haas has an MBA from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
