Partner, Global Cybersecurity and Privacy Assurance Leader, PwC

Grant is a partner on international assignment from the PwC UK London office. He is based in New York and is the Global Cybersecurity and Privacy Assurance Leader. He primarily serves Fortune 500 clients, working with them to think more broadly about cybersecurity and privacy so they can boldly pursue new opportunities.

After joining PwC in 1994, Grant held a number of positions across the firm in Europe and the USA. He is a business-minded risk and controls specialist with a strong background in advising clients on developing information risk management and assurance functions that help them achieve their business ambitions while preserving their priorities.

Over the past seven years he has been responsible for building and leading the UK Cybersecurity and Privacy practice and developing PwC’s digital practice—a convergence of perspectives that reflects PwC’s expansive view of cybersecurity and privacy as a lever for digital transformation.

Grant has a long history in large-scale projects across the globe, from digital strategy to multinational audits to systems implementation, and has been a leader in shaping the UK response to cybersecurity threats through roles in the UK’s Government / Private Sector Cyber Security Working Group and on the boards of the Information Assurance Advisory Council (IAAC) and the Cyber Security Challenge UK. This experience has equipped him to work across IT and finance functions, with internal auditors and external auditors, and with boards and audit committees—helping his clients engage their whole organizations in making the most of every situation.

Grant is a chartered accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
