Purchasing Policy Update
The university’s current Purchasing Policy, which went into effect on February 15, 2002, is being updated to address changes to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Guidance (UG) - Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principals, and Audit Requirements (2 CFR Part 200 – Awards Subpart D) issued on December 26, 2013 amended on December 19, 2014. The university must be fully compliant with these UG changes by July 1, 2018.
The draft updated Purchasing Policy is open for community comment on the university Policies site for a 30-day period. The comment period will close on February 22, 2018. Upon approval by the president of the university, the updated Purchasing Policy will be implemented.
