Xiangyin (Clay) Chen graduated from Renmin University of China in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and a minor in Mathematics. Before joining the MSCF program, he has finished three quantitative research internships in three different hedge fund and mutual fund companies. Those internships covered areas including alpha factors research and analysis, asset allocation strategies construction and refinement, as well as feature engineering for machine learning models used in order execution systems. Xiangyin joined the MSCF program to further enhance his understanding of quantitative methods heavily used in financial markets. Upon graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in quantitative research.
