Bio

Julian Jaramillo P. graduated from Universidad de Los Andes in 2020, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Computational Mathematics. During his undergraduate studies, Julian acquired statistics, mathematics, programming and finance skills through the following projects: designed and programmed an automated application to forecast any given stock price from the NYSE using time-series analysis, neural networks and hybrid approaches; web scraped real estate data and implemented machine learning methods to find undervalued properties. Upon graduation, he worked as a Risk Analyst for Grupo Bancolombia, where he used his financial knowledge to help in conceptualizing a CVA desk and sharpened his programming skills automating daily P&L tasks. Julian joined the MSCF program to further develop his Statistics and Machine Learning skills and is seeking a career within Quantitative Researching or Asset Management.
