Class of 2023
Chazz Edington graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Minor in Statistics. After graduating, he joined the Federal Reserve Board’s International Finance division as a research assistant to gain experience with academic research. At the Fed, Chazz worked on numerous policy oriented projects, including several FOMC presentations and memoranda regarding economic and monetary policy developments in foreign economies. He also conducted several research projects, including one on properties of linear factor model expected return estimators and another on forecasting currency returns with machine learning. Following his tenure at Fed, Chazz joined the MSCF program to further hone his quantitative skills and pursue a career in quantitative research.
