Bio

Rylan Greer discovered quantitative finance in 2015 while working as an Investment Associate at Nova Scotia Pension. In 2016, he moved to Toronto to further his knowledge in the field, joining Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan to learn from leaders in risk analysis, and taking mathematics, statistics, and computer science classes at night at University of Toronto, all while earning his CFA charter. Rylan joined the MSCF program in 2020 to improve his skills in machine learning, statistics, and mathematical finance. Upon completion of the program, he hopes to put his creativity and critical thinking skills to work in a career in quantitative research, portfolio management, or quant strategies.
