Bio

Haoran (Harry) Dai graduated with College Honors from Washington University in St. Louis, with double majors in Mathematics and Finance and an additional minor in Computer Science. During his undergraduate study, he gained a solid foundation in statistics and programming. During his internship at Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management, he back-tested trading strategies and conducted portfolio analysis, from which he developed his passion for financial markets and investment management. He also interned at Aon where he performed insurance due diligence, examined risk exposure, and drafted research reports for the M&A deals in the private equity space. Moreover, Haoran actively participated in extracurricular activities. He has been a vice president at a trading club as well as a portfolio manager at a student-run investment fund. Through these experiences, he strengthened his leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Haoran joined the MSCF program aiming to further sharpen his quantitative analytics and financial modeling skills. Upon graduation, he intends to pursue a career in quantitative research, asset management, or risk management.
