Bio

Chenghao (William) Zhang received his Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science from The University of Michigan in 2020. During his undergraduate study, he gained strong knowledge of computer science, statistics, and mathematics that are relevant for analyzing and manipulating voluminous and/or complex data. During his internship at Guotai Junan Securities, he formulated a high frequency trading strategy for nickel which features data analysis techniques and conducted statistic modeling to discover factors that could effectively predict abnormal unilateral price trends. He joined the MSCF program to strengthen his quantitative skills and gain further knowledge in the financial market. He intends to pursue a career in quantitative trading or sales and trading.
