Ziyou Will Wu

Ziyou (Will) Wu graduated with Distinction and Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and mathematical decision sciences in 2015. For his undergraduate honor thesis, he invented a testing framework for friend group recommendation in social networks and published his work in an academic conference. During his undergraduate study, while developing solid programming and analytical skills he also found strong interest in applying programming and quantitative skills to the financial world. In his senior year, he worked part-time at an algorithmic trading hedge fund as a technology intern. He later joined Deutsche Bank, where he worked on mortgage backed securities and equity derivatives teams to develop trading platforms. With a strong background in programming and experience in the financial industry, he decided to join the MSCF program to further enhance his knowledge in quantitative finance.
