Yan (Eva) Yi graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2016, with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and mathematics (financial track). With solid academic background, she made the dean’s List for six consecutive semesters. Yan has always been fascinated with investment strategies, financial models and behavioral finance. During her undergraduate study, she participated in several projects that enriched her skills in data analysis, modeling and programming. Prior to joining the MSCF program, she interned at SINOLINK Futures Co., Ltd and R&L Asset Management Co., Ltd, where she leveraged quantitative skills to develop trading strategies, conducted in-depth research in futures market and obtained hands-on experience and broad perspective of the financial services industry. Through the MSCF program, Yan is further sharpening her quantitative and analytical skills and obtaining a deep understanding of the finance industry. Upon graduation, Yan seeks career opportunities in asset management or risk management.
