Yuqi (Amy) Cheng graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2016 with first class honors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in risk management and quantitative finance with a minor in mathematics. With a consolidated background in statistics, mathematics and finance and an eye on the worldwide financial markets, she successfully accomplished projects in quantitative risk management. She developed structured financial products in her undergraduate studies, deepening her programming, mathematical modeling and quantitative analytical skills. For more exposure to the real market, Amy interned as a risk analyst at the Agricultural Bank of China - a leading commercial bank in China - where she applied statistical and mathematical methods to design country specific fund-picking and quantitatively estimate the risk levels via spreadsheet. Amy joined the MSCF program to leverage her programming skills and further obtain market knowledge. Upon graduation, she seeks a career in trading, asset management or risk management.
