Class of 2018
Yanan Li graduated from the University of International Business and Economics in 2016 with a Bachelor of Economics in finance. During her undergraduate study, Yanan built a firm quantitative foundation by taking courses in mathematics, statistics and computer science. Additionally, she led a team that placed first in the 2014 Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling. She also published an econometric paper about the relationship between income gap and openness in China as the first author. In addition to her academic achievements, Yanan enriched her professional skills and market sense through her internships at Dingfeng Company and Renaissance Era Investment Management Company in Beijing, developing and back-testing trading strategies. Through the MSCF program, Yanan aims to further develop her quantitative skills and seek a career in trading, quantitative research or risk management.
