Bio

Wenyi (Amelie) Lin graduated in 2016 with First Class Honors from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, majoring in mathematics and economics. Before joining the MSCF program, she worked as a quantitative trading analyst intern at Pilgrim Partners Asia, a Singapore-based hedge fund, where she gained insights on algorithmic trading and found her enthusiasm for quantitative finance. Prior to that, her internship experience in equity research with Pilgrim Growth and Income Fund broadened her knowledge in fundamental financial analysis. In addition, she interned in the loan department of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), where sharpened her abilities in front customer facing interactions. By studying in the MSCF program, Amelie is further honing her quantitative skills and cultivating her market view. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in sales and trading, structuring, or quantitative asset management.
