Class of 2018
Pranav Hanagal holds a Bachelor of Science in operations research and engineering, cum laude, from Cornell University and a Master of Science in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Minnesota. He was involved in quantitative research projects at both institutions. As an undergraduate, Pranav worked on a research project that utilized statistical modeling and optimization to improve the follow-up protocol for vascular surgery patients. As a graduate student, Pranav applied techniques from mathematical analysis and probability theory to prove theoretical results in cancer dynamics. Pranav joined the MSCF program to learn how he can apply his deep quantitative background to solve problems in financial engineering.
