Bio

Nan (George) Ou graduated from Peking University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in statistics and a Bachelor of Economics in finance. Before joining the MSCF program, he participated in various quantitative finance projects. As a summer analyst at the quantitative investment division of Morgan Stanley, Huaxin Asset Management, he strengthened his modeling, research and implementation skills by refining the style rotation model of Morgan Stanley Huaxin Multi-Factor Fund, developing strategies based on the disposition effect and building back-testing platform using MATLAB. He also gained experience in options trading strategies while interning at China Securities, where he supported OTC options pricing and trading and researched hedging approaches. Aside from solid coursework in finance, mathematics, statistics and programming, he took part in a research project in stochastic calculus and numerical methods. Upon graduation, Nan plans to pursue a career in trading, asset management or quantitative research.
