Class of 2018
Joseph Andros graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and a Bachelor of Science in economics in 2015. In the summer after his graduation, he explored his interest in the global economy by traveling to China and studying Mandarin through a National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarship at Peking University. After returning to the United States, he worked at Tradeweb Markets as a market data analyst. In this position, he analyzed daily volatility and improved quality assurance of U.S. and European corporate and government bonds as they were loaded onto trading platforms. Joseph joined the MSCF program to further leverage his quantitative and programming skills while enhancing his knowledge of global capital markets. Upon graduation, he seeks a career in quantitative research or risk management.
