Bio

Kelly Wadsworth joined the Institute for Politics and Strategy in June 2020 as the Graduate Program Manager, responsible for advising current and prospective students of the Master of Science in International Relations and Politics (MS IRP) and the Master of Information Technology Strategy (MITS). She is also the Instructor for the Center for International Relations and Politics (CIRP) Policy Forum. Kelly has a long history of dedication and devotion to student success. Prior to joining IPS, she was an adjunct professor in the political science department at Washington & Jefferson College, teaching a course in Public Administration.

From 2014 to 2020, Kelly worked and studied at the University of Pittsburgh. She first served as the Director of Career Services for the School of Education, then as a Teaching and Research Assistant for both the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) and the University Center for International Studies. She is currently a PhD candidate in Public Policy and Security Studies at GSPIA.

This is Kelly’s second stint at Carnegie Mellon: She worked as a Student Relations manager for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2013. Prior to that, she worked for the University of Washington as a PhD Program Administrator for the Jackson School of International Studies, as well as Director of Career Services and Alumni Relations, where she was honored with the Student Services Award by the Jackson School Student Association. 

Kelly holds both an MBA and a Master’s in International Studies from the University of Washington and has a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of California at Davis.

Bio

Alli Frymoyer is the Program Manager for the Institute for Politics and Strategy (IPS). She takes the lead on all events and programming for IPS, the Institute for Strategic Analysis, and the Center for International Relations and Politics.

Before joining IPS, Alli spent her career as a fundraiser for arts organizations and higher education institutions. Most recently, she served the university as the Assistant Director of Development for the College of Fine Arts. She holds a master’s degree in Arts Management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in the History of Art & Architecture from the University of Pittsburgh.
