Carnegie Mellon University

Steering Committee Members

The Steering Committee is composed of all co-chairs from the seven Self-Study Groups and the two Self-Study co-chairs. This structure promotes coordination and communication across groups to, among other things, share good practices, consolidate information requests and address overlap by determining which standard/group might best address a question or topic. Steering Committee members also serve as Self-Study process liaisons, providing information to and requesting information from colleges, schools, programs and administrative units, as well as leading and coordinating meetings with external visitors (e.g., MSCHE staff, Peer Evaluation Team).
