Self-Study Co-Chairs & Coordinating Committee Members

Self-Study Co-Chairs

Amy L. Burkert, Vice Provost for Education and Teaching Professor of Biology, and Lisa Krieg, Associate Vice President and Director of Enrollment Services were appointed by the Provost to serve as Co-chairs of the 2018 Self-Study process. They will work closely with each of the Self-Study Groups, dividing their responsibilities according to their distinctive expertise. 

Burkert will work most closely with Self-Study Groups for the Design and Delivery of the Student Learning Experience (Standard 3), Support of the Student Experience (Standard 4) and Educational Effectiveness Assessment (Standard 5). 

Krieg will work most closely with Self-Study Groups for Mission and Goals (Standard 1);  Ethics and Integrity (Standard 2); Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement (Standard 6); and Governance, Leadership and Administration (Standard 7). 

Coordinating Committee

The Self-Study process benefits from the expertise of Catherine Davidson, who again serves as the Self-Study Writer and has served on Peer Evaluation Teams. Catherine is the Senior Director of Campaign Communications for University Advancement.

Additionally, Lettia DeNormandie, Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice President and Director of Enrollment Services, brings her management, operational, and writing savvy to support the process as its Executive Assistant. 

Patience Whitworth, Director of the Office of the Vice Provost for Education, joined the group in early 2017, leveraging the breadth and depth of her experience in higher education to support the self-study process.

Rebecca Choltco, Director of Communication for Enrollment Services, brings her communication and web design expertise to support document and web page creation and dissemination for the process.
