Metro21 quoted in Atlanta's Bisnow

Metro21’s Executive Director, Karen Lightman was interviewed by Bisnow's featured series, Atlanta Suburban Restructuring, regarding concerns about inequitable development. 5G, which stands to expand broadband access in more affluent and urban areas, could further disenfranchise communities without access or funding to build out infrastructure. Lightman stressed the need for coordination between government and utilities, as well as policies that can help to bring these technologies to those most likely to be left behind.
