Dr. Jeremiah Mpagazehe is a Project Scientist who is commercializing research in both the PFTL and the LeDuc Cellular Biomechanics Laboratory at CMU. His research focuses on the development of renewable, economically-viable bioenergy. Jeremiah has a background in experimentation and computational modeling of tribological and particle-fluid flow phenomena. Specifically, he has investigated separation science (filtration), ultra-deep drilling for energy resources, algae-based biofuel production, and lunar dust erosive wear caused by rocket exhaust.
Dr. Mpagazehe earned his B.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. When not in the lab, he enjoys running, motorcycle riding, and scuba diving. |
