Global Learning Council

The Global Learning Council (GLC) has been established as a virtual organization committed to advancing the use of science and technology to improve outcomes for learners around the world. It was launched in concert with CMU's Simon Initiative and is chaired by President Subra Suresh. The GLC is a consortium of leaders in the field of education from academia, industry and nonprofits.

The promise of technology-enhanced learning to improve learning outcomes for people everywhere has the potential to change the face of humanity, helping people around the world to reach their full human potential.

2nd GLC Symposium Playlist

The Global Learning Council will convene its second meeting and symposium in Singapore from April 12-13, 2016. Hosted by the National University of Singapore, the second GLC symposium will feature sessions around the theme of “Technology-enhanced learning in Asia: Promises and Challenges.”

This invitation only meeting and symposium will convene global leaders in the education, industry, government and non-profit sectors to share ideas, best-practices and discuss problems and solutions to some of the most important questions around the development and deployment of technology enhanced learning (TEL) to improve outcomes for all learners.
