Disable RDP and/or VNC

Disable Microsoft Remote Desktop (Windows)

  1. Complete one of the following:
    • Browse to Control Panel > System > Remote Settings (click the Remote tab on the System Properties dialog box).
    • Open the Run dialog box (Windows Key + R), type SystemPropertiesRemote.exe and press Enter to open the Remote tab of the System Properties Box.
  2. From the Remote tab, select Don't allow connections to this computer.
  3. Click OK.

Disable Virtual Network Computing

Mac Screen Sharing (vnc://

  1. On the menu toolbar, click the Apple icon then System Preferences.
  2. Click Sharing.
  3. Uncheck Screen Sharing.
  4. Close System Preferences.
