Ever dreamed of working in a busy newsroom or covering breaking news from the streets of the nation’s capital? Interested in learning how podcasts or TV shows are produced?  Considering a career as a journalist or reporter? An internship with the organizations below might be a great fit!

There’s no shortage of breaking news in Washington, DC, and an intern with one of the organizations below can expect to always be on the move. Many of the big news outlets have their headquarters, or at least large offices, in DC, and interns can assist with researching and writing stories, as well as helping to cover and report on events. Interns working in this field might also have the opportunity to assist with the production of TV shows and podcasts.
