The Process Tracing, Counterfactuals, Archival Analysis and Interviews mini covers some of the most influential research methods in qualitative research, strongly integrating theory and practice. Students will become familiar with the inferential logic of process tracing and the basics of the counterfactual approach to observational data analysis. Students will also learn how to conduct interviews, case studies, and to collect and manipulate primary-source records.
